As you can tell, I've been quite the lover of neutral colors as far as shoes, bags, and accessoires are concerned. For a very good reason, obviously. I think that it's just very elegant to sometimes focus on one specific pop of color to make an outfit stand out, instead of it being very colorful all around. 

This specific outfit was inspired by some pictures of the south and I just couldn't help myself. It's perfect for a nice afternoon in some charming Alabama town or to enjoy some delicious Iced Tea on a blazing hot afternoon in Georgia. I love how the red, which is a very strong and dominant color, can be worn with so much elegance can still be styled rather playful and girly.

I am sooooooooo in love with this outfit. It literally screams "Let's go to Rodeo Drive with the girls". It's classy, timeless, and sophisticated yet can be easily put together even for someone who is on a budget. I love how the neutral colors combined with the jeans blouse make this look pop a little. It's very feminine and at the same time it makes every woman look in charge of her style and her attitude. 

The golden accents that are focused on accessoires and jewelry, give this look an all around glow, which makes it perfect for any day during spring and summer.

For all the vinos out there...

My tummy is full, I had yummy wine, and I'm happy. What more could I want? Well, to share one of my favorite spots out there.
I don't know if many of you have been to Mainz, Germany before, but if not, you really should. My hometown is a rather small, very charming, university city, located in the south west of Germany. If you have ever heard of Gutenberg, the guy who pretty much invented printing, then you've probably heard of Mainz as well. Anyways, our region is known for extraordinarily good wine - let's just say that I live in what you would consider "Germany's Napa." Therefore, we have tons of wineries, vineyards, and very delicious wine. When I get together with some of my friends it's usually at this very low key wine-house downtown Mainz called "Rote Kopf", which literally translated into "red head." And no, they don't mean gingers, but rather the color your face will turn into once you've had one too many.

My best trip - Los Angeles & Las Vegas

This post is all about my best trip so far!

Let's travel back to February of 2011, when my girlfriends and I decided to meet some of our friends in Vegas for a two-week birthday bash. Let me start by telling you that no one, EVER, should go on a trip to Vegas for more than a weekend. That two week trip seriously sucked that last bit of energy and life out of us, but it was amazeballs!!! I'll let some pictures speak for themselves. Our first stop was Las Vegas. We flew from Frankfurt, Germany to Los Angeles first and then took another plane that took us to Sin City. Although we were sort of jet lagged, the excitement of being on trip and the fact that we were staying at the Hard Rock Hotel, in the Punk Rock Designer Pool Suite nonetheless, did not keep us from partying from day one.

A Fall Afternoon in Strasbourg, France

Hey guys,
ok, so I after I spent a beautiful afternoon in Strasbourg, France the other day, I really feel like you should be able to see the photographic evidence of the beauty I got to witness. Luckily, I live about two hours away from Strabourg so it was possible to spontaneously hop in the car and go for a drive. That's exactly what I did... and I LOVED it. Strasbourg is such a charming city and the Alsace architecture reminded me so much of Germany.

It's time for me to share one of my favorite cities in Italy. This year in June, I was lucky enough to visit Naples in southern Italy and let me tell you, this place is different than any other places I have ever been to. A thousand words couldn't describe the beauty, the vibe of that city. The people are like no other. It's simply breathtaking!
